You’ve saved, pinned, and screenshot tons of inspo for that upcoming engagement shoot, but nothing you’ve seen sparks any real excitement. And while you’re definitely on board for a scintillating boudoir session, you find the usual scenery a little tried and tired. Luckily for Brides of Long Island, the boundary-breaking and innovative team at Alli Murphy Photography (a BOLI preferred vendor) has an experience in the works unlike any you’ve seen before.
On June 12th, the masterminds behind last year’s deSeverksy Mansion Experience want to bring you to The Barn – a stylized photoshoot event in Manorville, where a real working farm, beautiful horses, and over 30 acres of lush greenery provide a unique backdrop for your engagement, anniversary, or even boudoir photographs.
Upon arrival, you’ll prepare for the shoot with our area’s top hair and makeup artists (and perhaps choose a few glitter strands or feathers for your flowing locks, provided by Pixie Chicks Hair Fairies). After your glam is complete, slip into one of two outfits you’ve selected for the day and spend time with Alli Murphy’s talented photographers, in and around the barns on the property. Don’t forget to step into the paddocks, where you’ll be shot alongside (and atop!) a few majestic horses.

The Barn experience will feature those extra touches of indulgence that Alli Murphy Photography is known for – a bell tent and luxury picnic setup courtesy of Luxury Picnics NY and Nailah’s Rentals, a mobile bar with signature drinks from Rox Mobile Bar, savory and sweet treats whipped up by The Treatery LI, and a delectable menu of Tex-Mex flavors and dishes by TacHoe Truck – all accompanied by a pulsing soundtrack provided by Opulent Entertainment Group. A shopping tent will host eclectic vendors from all over the island, so you can shop til you drop while sipping libations and moving to the groove. “The best part about this shoot is that it really can be anything you want it to be,” said Elizabeth Woodward, Alli Murphy Photography’s marketing director. “This is truly an out-of-the-box opportunity. It’s open to women or couples, so brides can bring their fiancés and make this a stunning engagement shoot. If you got married during the pandemic and are holding your reception later on, this can be a great way to celebrate your original anniversary. Or it can be a really distinctive kind of boudoir shoot – we’ll have bridal accessories available, like veils and robes, and of course our black and pink angel wings.”
What if your western wardrobe is a little lacking? Not to worry, according to Woodward. “You can pick whatever outfit you want to bring. It can be lingerie, a gorgeous gown, festival wear – whatever your heart desires!”

Reserving your spot for The Barn experience requires a $500 deposit that will be applied to your choice of available photo packages, from a collection of ten retouched images to a full digital library and 8×12 luxury book. “The photo packages for this event are priced the same as our studio packages, but we’re giving everyone more photos in each package. So it’s really an amazing deal,” said Woodward. You can save even more money with pre-payment discounts, and payment plans are available.
