My wedding business came about almost by accident. In August of 2019, my wife and I finally got married after being together for 15 years. š¬ I had been working on a song for her as a surpise wedding gift.
It's titled "Woman," and it actually changed our lives, and pointed me right towards the wedding industry. I used our wedding video as the music video for the song, and as soon as I posted it to Facebook, I began getting request after request to sing it at other peoples weddings. I turned the video into a small ad, and things just took off. Since then I've performed for hundreds of weddings. Growing each year from a small acoustic option, to now a full amazing wedding band.
I've had the honor of singing "Woman," for dozens and dozens of first dances & walks down the isle, and it even lead me to a wedding performance that was covered and metioned by The NY Times.
It is an honor to be a part of each and every single wedding, so its hard to single out one memory. I will say, that every time I am asked to sing one of my original songs, its the most amazing feeling ever.
My specialty is authenticity. I am proud to be able to allow my style as an artist to remain consistent through each and every one of my band options. It's very important to me that people feel something from my band. If I tried too hard to sound like the nest wedding band that feeling would be lost. I am so grateful that we have found a Niche that is looking for music that is unique, artistic, and one of a kind.
We can not express how wonderful it was to have Troy sing at our wedding. It was the perfect touch to making our day complete. Troy sang his song āwomanā as our first dance and it was magical. I stumbled upon him on facebook and I am glad we connected. When someone sings from their soul it makes all the difference. Everyone enjoyed his beautiful voice. I want to thank Troy for making my sonās wedding complete! It was an intimate wedding of about 30 people at a nice restaurant and Mr. Ramey made the day so memorable with his amazing talent. Hard to put into words how amazing Troy is. He was responsive right from the start and and was a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding! You can tell he's happy to work with you and just wants to be a part of helping you have the best day ever. We ultimately booked Troy solo for the ceremony and then Troy's Trio for the reception and our guests are still raving about the band! They made our wedding unforgettable and even more special than we could've ever imagined. My husband and I went to take a peek of the reception space during our cocktail hour just to see it before the guests were in there and Troy ended up playing us a new original song him and his wife had just written. We got to have a private first dance and we loved it so much that we asked him to play that for our first dance in front of our friends and family. He created an unforgettable moment for us and a truly unforgettable day for our guests too! His voice is truly out of this world beautiful and we feel so fortunate that he was available on our date! We are still getting texts asking who the band was :) Thank you so much for everything, Troy!
Wow! Super talented, Troy exceeded expectations. My fiancĆ© had special song requests and he nailed them. Troy was so easy to work with and couldnāt have been nicer. I look forward to seeing him at future events!
Troy is EXTREMELY talented and exceeded our expectations! Our wedding was at Cowfish, Hampton Bays and he performed for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He created the EXACT environment we had envisioned! Walking down the aisle to him singing A Thousand Years and having him sing our wedding song, Made for You, made those moments even more special. He was super easy to work, very responsive to calls and emails and took a lot of time to create the perfect night for us. Our guests are still talking about him months later!!
We hired Troy as our Cocktail musician and to play our first dance song at our wedding. Troy recorded himself playing a version of the first dance song and we were instantly sold on him. We put our trust in him and he over-delivered. The vibe was awesome during cocktail hour, as he played some favorites of ours from Chris Stapleton and he crushed the first dance song! AMAZING!!!! Troy is such a talented musician and made my ceremony and cocktail hour complete. Everyone at my wedding couldnāt stop saying how great Troy was.
