Hi, my name is Eric Tomeo and I am the owner of The Roving Bar Long Island! I am all about having fun, creating memories, and making people smile. I am a very outgoing and bubbly person that loves meeting new people and doing new things, which is why I started this business. It is my goal to make your day as special as possible, so please reach out so we can get to know one another and make your day special!

Who doesn't love wedding season?! The Roving Bar is such a fun and unique addition to a wedding, whether it's for everyone's favorite part (the cocktail hour), the after-party, or for the entire wedding. This vintage Piaggio Ape mobile bar cart is a fun way to serve drinks to the party and makes for very picturesque wedding photos!

This incredibly chic, three-wheeled Italian Piaggio Ape (pronounced "ah-peh" - Italian for bee) is ready to pour your guests perfectly chilled brews and bubbles, complete with a romantic Vespa vibe.

The bars can pull up to any wedding (or engagement party, bridal shower, bachelorette, anniversary, graduation, BBQ, corporate event—any party, really) and dispense perfectly chilled, ready-to-drink glasses of Prosecco, rosé, beer, white wine, kegged cocktails (as well as non-alcoholic options such as sparkling water, lemonade, etc.) from the available taps. Choose from an extensive list of beverage offerings (or supply your own). The compact size of the vehicles allows chilled glasses of Prosecco and beer to be served in a variety of locations. So, no matter your venue, there’s a spot for The Roving Bar.

The Roving Bar was originally founded in 2018 in New Jersey by Matt and Jen Woolston. Matt and Jen are two incredible people and have created such a lovely and fun business that I really wanted to be apart of. I had confronted Matt and Jen in late 2020 and they had mentioned to me how they always wanted a bar on Long Island since it is such a hotspot for weddings and events. Matt and Jen saw my passion and vision for this business and wanted me to join their crew and expand to Long Island. The Roving Bar Long Island was established in 2021 and looks to continue the success story and love for the industry just as Matt and Jen continue to do.

How much does it cost to rent The Roving Bar?
The cost of the rental is an hourly rate, please contact us for further details so we can work out the best package and rate for you!

Is the alcohol/beverages included?
The alcohol is not included in the rental fee. You would let me know what type of beverages you want on tap, I would place the order and then you would pay for the face value cost of the beverages of choice. The Roving Bar handles the pick up and drop off as well to make it as easy and convenient for you on the day of your wedding or event.

How big is The Roving Bar?
The vintage Piaggio Ape is approximately 5 feet wide, 8 feet long, and 5 feet high. It is a perfect size and can fit outside and even inside most wedding venues. The Roving Bar is also great for backyard wedding parties too!

Does it drive?
Yes it does! The vintage Piaggio Ape has a brand new fully functioning diesel engine and can zip into any spot big enough to fit its size!

Does the rental come with bartending service?
Yes! Every rental comes with a minimum of one licensed bartender, and has the option for a second or third bartender depending on the size of the wedding party.
