Our work is born out of love and passion. We will never treat you just like another client, job, and most certainly not a paycheck. We want to visually narrate the poetry of your story in the most authentic way because you deserve that. Your wedding is YOUR chapter of life; so beautiful and unique that we are completely wild about capturing every part of it! With a “get it done” attitude, Russell and his team is able deliver a concise and well-thought-out story whether in the field or in editing. He takes pride in producing meticulous work and has a keen editorial eye. He maintains these same high standards for everyone that he works with. RF Films operates out of Long Island, New York, but has also worked on weddings all over the Tri-State area. They can even cover destination events. Despite having a successful career as a television producer, Russell decided to put the hectic pace of television aside and utilize his skills and expertise in a more personal and intimate setting. He wanted to capture the events and ceremonies of people’s lives and turn them into something they can truly treasure. This is why he launched RF Films and Photography. His goal is to bring his own unique style and background to capture your precious memories.

If I can offer one piece of advice for your big day, it’s to live in the moment and don’t worry about timelines, vendors, or the stress leading up to everything. With countless weddings photographed and captured on video in the NY TRI STATE area, it’s completely ordinary to not be on-schedule with your day's timeline, and guess what, it usually has nothing to do with the wedding party! Spend that extra moment soaking it in, hugging your dad, having a first look, dancing a little longer, oh and getting that extra photograph. And get that dress and suit dirty, jump in the pool, ocean, hell even the bathtub. Have fun with it! This is your big day!! Make it count!

Russell the owner of RF FILMS & PHOTOGRAPHY is a three-time Emmy Nominated television producer who has produced over 400 plus hours of network programming for networks such as ABC, CBS, TLC, HGTV, VH1, Travel, Discovery and Food Network just to name a few. We take pride in our extremely down-to-earth customer service throughout the entire client relationship! Like our personalities, our photography and videography style can be described as natural, organic, and honest! Our wedding packages are highly competitive, and we can mold any wedding photography package to fit your needs for your perfect wedding day!

Q. Will you ever book another event on the same day as my wedding? A. No! We believe in quality over quantity, therefore, we are a boutique style business and only book 4-8 events per month! We want to make sure you are our priority. We give you and our product all the attention it needs and deserves in order for it to become your most priceless and treasured gift. Q. Do you have second shooters? A. Yes, both professional photographers and videographers. Q. When will i receive my video? A.On average; your trailer video will be delivered under 2 months following the event. An 35-45-20 minute video will be delivered within 3 months of the event. Q. Can i buy the raw footage? A. Yes! We offer raw footage on an external hard-drive for an additional $300, if you get a package that does not already include it. This is a great way to keep all unseen footage, including speeches, and to even change up your video in the future! Q. When and how will i receive the videos? A. Features videos will be completed within 6-14 weeks of the event (depending on package purchased). Your films will be delivered to you via online download. Q. Do you offer services other than weddings? A. Yes, many more! We do all sorts of events and occasions including; Trash the Dress, engagements, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, quinceaneras, commercial, newborn, children, family, and birth. Q. Photography: How many photographs will i receive? A. Via electronic submission, you will receive approximately all images. A. When will I receive my photographs? Q. On average, photographs will be electronically transmitted to you within 4-8 weeks of the shoot/event. A. You will receive your photographs via an online gallery with a photo pass. Th Q. When should we meet? A. As soon as you are ready! The sooner the better, we typically book out 16 months in advance.
