Introduction

Started in 2013, New York Wedding Films is a small crew of documentary wedding filmmakers based in New York City and Los Angeles. Alex K. and Alex I. work together since 2016. Besides having same names we also have same filming style.

Sometimes we work as a two camera crew and this configuration is available with our Package One+

Our wedding videos are a mix of graphical expertise and aesthetics. We use high-quality portable film equipment to freely capture your special day at any location.

What's your style?

Our primary style is documentary with cinematic grandeur inspired by New York City, Stanley Kubrick's street photography and Quentin Tarantino's attention to details. We will not start your Highlight Reel with a drone shot of your stunning venue with dramatic background voice from your ceremony or speech... Instead will let the story unfold itself the way we have witnessed it. And rest assure your stunning venue, amazing drone shots and floating camera at your reception will be there along with just the right amount of drama, laughter and fun!

What is the difference between Highlight Reel and Wedding Film?

Highlight reel is 3-10 minutes long recap of the day (depending on the amount of coverage) edited with 1-2 songs. Wedding Film is 45-60 minutes long edited Feature with 5-7 songs of your choice.

There will be about 200 guests, will one videographer be enough?

Our solo filmmaker works with gimbal stabilizer at all times and uses second, small unmanned camera for Ceremony and Speeches and comfortably covers events up to 200 people. For events with more than 200 guests we recommend hiring a 2nd videographer (available with + configurtation of any package).

Have you filmed at our venue before?

Having worked in New York Metro area for a while, we might have worked at your venue some times. It is also possible that it's a new venue for us, and we can't be more happier and prepared for such situation.

How do you work with other vendors?

We respect everyone's part in the process of making this day for you unforgettable. Because of our non-intrusive and portable style, photographers, DJs, bands and venues always enjoy working with New York Wedding Films.
