My very favorite moments while working in the bridal industry are when the bride looks at her hair style that I created for her. She feels beautiful, confident and ready to take on the day. To me, that is pure joy, art and love tide together into one.

Specialization

My team and I specialize in more of a Boho Style Wedding. We love creating Bohemian inspired braids & twists that incorporate into upstyles and down styles. We want all of our hair styles to specialize to the unique personality of each and every bride we encounter.

Company History

Nikki Lee Santopietro began her career as a hairstylist in 2005 within the theatre industry. Through years of private school education / salon experiences, and bridal work she decided that she wanted to create her own business in the bridal industry. Through the years she established herself as a hair stylist and is now known as a bridal expert in her industry... now owning her own business and having a team work along side her 100 + weddings a year. She has a talent for creating unforgettable moments for every bride she encounters and has won many hairstyling awards. You will catch her behind the scenes at many local Long Island / New York venues creating bridal looks for both the bride and all woman along side her for the big day! She started her business 5 years ago, when she became a single mother to her son, Kai Anthony. Kai has since then been her drive and the passion to be the very best version of herself and best stylist, she could be. “Its all about the experience and having your clients full trust that you will make them look their best. ” That’s just what you will get working with Nikki. She will customize her services and packages, with a personalized approach, to meet the needs of every client. 1.How many girls can we accommodate the day of the wedding ? ANSWER- Any number of girls can be accommodated with my team of ladies that work along side me !

2. Do you travel for the wedding day? ANSWER- Yes, I personally travel to all my clients for the day of the wedding (with my team of ladies that work for me, if need be) and all trials are done in our private studio salon, located in Port Jefferson, NY.

Personal Hobbies

My personal hobbies include : 1. Being the best momma I can be, and giving my son the best version of me when I'm not working. 2. Decorating. I LOVE styling up my bohemian styled apartment and making it a beautiful comfy place for my son and I. 3. Reading a great magazine with an iced coffee within reach! I had my hair trial this past month with Nikki Lee and had an AMAZING experience. I showed Nikki a few pictures of some styles that I was interested in and she was able to make it my own and create a braided updo that I had been envisioning. I was able to find inspiration on what I wanted by looking through her Instagram account. Not only is she awesome at boho hair styling but she is also super sweet and friendly! I am looking forward to having Nikki style my hair for my big day and also my big bridal party. I highly recommend using Hair By Nikki Lee for your wedding!

I had my trial with Nikki a few weeks ago and it was incredible! She was so sweet and clearly an expert at hair. She was super easy to communicate with from booking, to answering my many texts and concerns about finding the correct extensions. When it came to the trial she was really thorough in making sure she understood my vision and also in explaining her process as she went along. I had never done extensions before but she made them look so natural and they added so much to the style. The end result was amazing! The style was exactly what I had pictured and felt beyond secure. I was worried going into the trial that I would have to compromise on the somewhat natural/boho look I wanted in order to make sure the style was secure and not falling out after a few hours, but that is NOT an issue with Nikki! I am SO sad that I've had to postpone my wedding and that I can't work with her on my big day, but if you are a bride looking for a fantastic, sweet hair stylist with the ability to do a huge range of styles, Nikki is your girl!!
