Fireside Sparrow Photography
Hey there! My name is Stephanie - I am the Photographer behind the lens for Fireside Sparrow. You're planning a wedding, and that's amazing. I think it is super important for you to have a vendor team that you LOVE - which is why that's what I lead with. I like to know about you, your love story, the songs you will be dancing to and the inspiration for all of your unique details. I think that my style can be best described as personal, artful, and intimate. I am by your side all day - so it is really important that you get to know me as well. I am a Mother of 3, an avid reader, I love music and bright colors. I am quirky and get really emotional over heartfelt things. I married my childhood sweetheart in 2011 and really connect with couples that adore each other. I think that attitude makes or breaks your wedding day, and that no matter what if you're leading with the love you have for each other, you can't go wrong.
The Wedding Industry
It's so funny, I started as a planner. After I got married I became a Wedding Planner. The business dissolved after a few years because me and my business partner wanted to go in different directions (and honestly it is ok, it was an incredible chapter in my life). I started with Photography in 2015, shortly after my first son was born. We had suffered an apartment fire and things were really chaotic, but my husband and friends pushed me to pursue something I was naturally adept at. I finally stepped into Wedding Photography and I am not looking back. I love showing people's authentic connection on such a special day of their lives. Every single wedding has its own heartbeat, every family has their own traditions, every couple their own personal journey. Capturing that is a privilege and a joy.
The Wedding Memories
Oh man this is a good one! Let me bullet point some of my favorite wedding memories: 1) A Bride chose a cover of 'Let's Go Fly A Kite' from Mary Poppins to dance with her Father to (I was a puddle behind my camera) 2) Two brides that wrote their own vows for each other ended their vows with the same exact jokes/pop culture references and had no idea, the whole room lit up with how special it was 3) Once a couple had a backyard wedding and made booklets of their personal poetry to each other for every guest, it was astoundingly meaningful and beautiful 4) A couple got married in 2020 with a Church ceremony and we went to All American Burger after - and they will probably be some of my favorite captures forever 5) A couple was getting married at their home and it was raining all morning. Neighbors saw the chairs set up and started running over with tents to help cover the ceremony. The rain stopped just in time for them to get married, but the genuine love from their neighbors trying to help was incredible
Artful, intimate photography. I get the small smiles as you walk down the hallway, the bridesmaids and groomsmen's elation as you get ready. The private first looks, and the fun receptions. I specialize in being by your side, and covering your wedding as such.
Fireside Sparrow was the name I chose for my LLC after rebranding in 2020. I actually rebranded right before shutdown. My background in Photography is a lot of family work. I leaned into weddings at the end of 2018 and went all in and niched down at the end of 2021 to really focus on being a Wedding Photography. My team is me. I work with a lot of other solo photographers to give an option for a second shooter if needed - maybe one day I will expand! I am always committed to growing and learning more about my craft, and I also keep bookings a little exclusive only taking on 2-3 weddings a month. Fireside Sparrow is a boutique photography brand, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I am a writer, and I have a blog that is on my website where I interview people and post their stories. I also homeschool my three kids, read, listen to music too loud and I LOVE to cook. I get really excited when Food & Wine magazine publishes a really good recipe and pairs it with a playlist and a wine choice - honestly making ordinary things special is one of my favorite things to do.
Amazing! I was an older bride-67, and not looking forward to being photographed like a blushing bride. I was looking for someone to just capture the special moments of the day. Stephanie did that and more. My photos were perfect. Highly recommend!!!
Never have I ever been happier to have met Stephanie, I’ve been going to her at this point for 4 years for family photos. Her energy, charisma, and over all positive vibes is infectious along side her natural talent, it makes her a true force. I’m so happy to have her in my life, and to capture the moments I cherish the most.
Stephanie made every part of the engagement and wedding journey truly spectacular. She really gets to know her clientele so she can tell their love story behind the lens. Stephanie makes everything so seamless. She has such attention to detail and is such an investigator for good light, great shots, and the joy in between. She has a calm demeanor that relaxes you in high stressful moments ( like heat LOL). She is so incredibly thoughtful, loving, and warm all around. She really is the couple's cheerleader on their wedding day. She jumps, hides, crawls, and gets in the dirt to get the best shots. Her photography says it all. It's artful and romantic. You are transported back to your special day and can vividly remember the moments in between because of all the incredible candids she takes. She never misses a beat or a moment. You are in the best hands with Stephanie and will find a friend to boot.
Stephanie is AMAZING. Her photos are one of a kind. She was efficient and thorough with our portraits and when I look at the candids she took, my wedding day literally comes to life again before my eyes. She does an excellent job at capturing every aspect of the day. Stephanie takes the time to get to know you as a couple and by the time the wedding day came, I can truly say it wouldn't have been complete without her! Hiring Stephanie is probably the best decision we made in planning our wedding.

Stephanie is an incredible photographer, who I was lucky enough to have photograph my church ceremony. She was just as excited leading up to the wedding as we were, set up a call 2 weeks prior and texted me the week leading up. She was warm and friendly, really made my husband, family and I feel super comfortable in front of the camera. Sent over a sneak peak within 48 hours, and we absolutely loved the teasers. When we received our full album we were thrilled with the quality and artistic touches.
Stephanie is THE BEST. She made us feel like our micro-ceremony was the event of the year. My husband and I are a bit camera shy and she had us laughing and forgetting about our nerves in no time. Our photos are absolutely beautiful and captured us, our family and the day perfectly.
