Hey there! My name is Stephanie - I am the Photographer behind the lens for Fireside Sparrow. You're planning a wedding, and that's amazing. I think it is super important for you to have a vendor team that you LOVE - which is why that's what I lead with. I like to know about you, your love story, the songs you will be dancing to and the inspiration for all of your unique details. I think that my style can be best described as personal, artful, and intimate. I am by your side all day - so it is really important that you get to know me as well. I am a Mother of 3, an avid reader, I love music and bright colors. I am quirky and get really emotional over heartfelt things. I married my childhood sweetheart in 2011 and really connect with couples that adore each other. I think that attitude makes or breaks your wedding day, and that no matter what if you're leading with the love you have for each other, you can't go wrong.

It's so funny, I started as a planner. After I got married I became a Wedding Planner. The business dissolved after a few years because me and my business partner wanted to go in different directions (and honestly it is ok, it was an incredible chapter in my life). I started with Photography in 2015, shortly after my first son was born. We had suffered an apartment fire and things were really chaotic, but my husband and friends pushed me to pursue something I was naturally adept at. I finally stepped into Wedding Photography and I am not looking back. I love showing people's authentic connection on such a special day of their lives. Every single wedding has its own heartbeat, every family has their own traditions, every couple their own personal journey. Capturing that is a privilege and a joy.

Oh man this is a good one! Let me bullet point some of my favorite wedding memories: 1) A Bride chose a cover of 'Let's Go Fly A Kite' from Mary Poppins to dance with her Father to (I was a puddle behind my camera) 2) Two brides that wrote their own vows for each other ended their vows with the same exact jokes/pop culture references and had no idea, the whole room lit up with how special it was 3) Once a couple had a backyard wedding and made booklets of their personal poetry to each other for every guest, it was astoundingly meaningful and beautiful 4) A couple got married in 2020 with a Church ceremony and we went to All American Burger after - and they will probably be some of my favorite captures forever 5) A couple was getting married at their home and it was raining all morning. Neighbors saw the chairs set up and started running over with tents to help cover the ceremony. The rain stopped just in time for them to get married, but the genuine love from their neighbors trying to help was incredible

Artful, intimate photography. I get the small smiles as you walk down the hallway, the bridesmaids and groomsmen's elation as you get ready. The private first looks, and the fun receptions. I specialize in being by your side, and covering your wedding as such.

Fireside Sparrow was the name I chose for my LLC after rebranding in 2020. I actually rebranded right before shutdown. My background in Photography is a lot of family work. I leaned into weddings at the end of 2018 and went all in and niched down at the end of 2021 to really focus on being a Wedding Photography. My team is me. I work with a lot of other solo photographers to give an option for a second shooter if needed - maybe one day I will expand! I am always committed to growing and learning more about my craft, and I also keep bookings a little exclusive only taking on 2-3 weddings a month. Fireside Sparrow is a boutique photography brand, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I am a writer, and I have a blog that is on my website where I interview people and post their stories. I also homeschool my three kids, read, listen to music too loud and I LOVE to cook. I get really excited when Food & Wine magazine publishes a really good recipe and pairs it with a playlist and a wine choice - honestly making ordinary things special is one of my favorite things to do.
